Welcome to the 2013 Chad Callihan Volleyball camps! We are offering a training experience catered to your experience level, the Georgia Southern way. Under the guidance of Head Coach Chad Callihan and his experienced staff you will be exposed to various drills and gameplay designed to help you grow and develop as a player.
We are looking forward to having you train with us here at Georgia Southern University this summer!

Rookie camp is designed to teach a solid foundation of skills on which the player can build on over time. Camp staff will be introducing the basic technical skills through fun games and drills that will challenge the players, but not overwhelm them. The campers will gain confidence in their abilities and increase their knowledge of volleyball working as partners, small groups, and teams throughout the day.Date: June 21, 28 (Ages 7-12)
This camp is designed to pass on some of the concepts and drills Georgia Southern Volleyball uses for team development. Your assigned coach will help develop your players’ individual skills and assist in implementing your offensive and defensive systems. Not only will you have the opportunity to train together and develop better technique, you will be able to put what you have learned into action against other teams in competitive match play.Date: July 22-24
On the final day of team camp, your team can join in the tournament for match play. This option is a “play only” option and does not come with the benefits of our training staff. You will have to bring your own coach. This is a great opportunity for the team that cannot commit to the full camp but still wants to engage in friendly competition with other teams.Date: July 24
The All-Skills camp is recommended for the volleyball player who is looking to improve their technique and overall skills necessary for playing volleyball at a higher level. Campers will be placed into groups appropriate to their ability level at the beginning of camp, whether you are brand new to the sport or a four-year varsity player; we have a place for you! Our staff will be keeping a close eye on your development and making certain you are with the appropriate group for the duration of the camp. The campers will hone their technique in a variety of drills and games that are designed to be competitive and fun. There will be opportunities for match play throughout the camp so the campers can put their skills to the test!Date: July 25-27
